Living at Beaumont?

Beaumont Hall is one of the most picturesque places on campus, and is made up of six sections in The Village.

Location

If you live in Beaumont Hall, you'll be just minutes walk away from The Village Reception, and have the best access to the Botanical Gardens from Glebe Road. Plus, it's only a 20 minute bus journey or cycle to campus (or a 45-minute walk).

You'll also be across the road from Oadby Food Court and The Village Hub, which includes a fully licensed pub, music rooms, study rooms and a cinema room.

Beaumont House

Beaumont House (A converted house) is the hall's central social space, with a music room, TV room and study spaces available to use, perfect for socialising. Speaking of socialising, everyone in this house will be sharing bathrooms and kitchens as the rooms are made up of twin bedrooms and single bedrooms (with or without washbasins in a range of sizes).

All bedrooms include:

  • Bed (single in single rooms and 3/4 in twin rooms and large single rooms with a washbasin).
  • Wardrobe
  • Desk
  • Desk chair
  • Shelves
  • Bedside table
  • Drawers
  • Basic contents insurance
  • 100mb/s wifi

Beaumont Lodges

The lodges consist of three small properties – Gate House, Stable Lodge and Beaumont Lodge – with just 12 rooms in total. So this accommodation is perfect if you'd prefer to live with a smaller group.

All properties are made up of single bedrooms, with options for small, standard (with or without a washbasin) and large.

You can expect your bedroom to have:

  • Bed (single in standard single rooms, 3/4 in large single rooms, and a study bed in small single rooms).
  • Wardrobe
  • Desk
  • Desk chair
  • Shelves
  • Bedside table
  • Drawers
  • Basic contents insurance
  • 100mb/s wifi
