An empowering, innovative and inclusive student-led Union

Starting university is a big step — but you’re not in it alone. At Leicester Students’ Union, we’re here to help you thrive, belong, and succeed from your first day to your final year.

We want to make your experiences at university the best they can be, so the union are here to support you by offering opportunities to connect and grow.

Looking to meet other students and build your network?

With over 200+ student groups, there's something for everyone — from cultural societies and sports clubs to gaming, arts, academic support, and more. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, we’ll help you set up your own group!👉 leicesterunion.com/opportunities

Want to make a difference and drive change?

Become a voice for students by becoming an Academic Rep or Part-Time Officer. You'll represent your fellow students, influence decisions, and help shape the university experience for yourself and your peers.👉 leicesterunion.com/voice

Want a helping hand to settle in?

If you’re an undergraduate, you’ll be matched with a Peer Mentor — a returning student from your course who’s been through it all before. They will be a friendly source of information, hints and tips to help you settle into University life. Keep an eye out for the Meet your Mentor events during the first couple weeks of term (Excluding Medicine, PGT and PGR).👉 leicesterunion.com/peermentoring
