Bigger and better than ever, expect to explore streets filled with wooden chalets, hanging lights and independent businesses selling artisan and handmade crafts, delicious food, mulled wine and more. 

Wheel of light 🎡

Dates: Running now until early January 2026

Location: Jubilee Square

Making a reappearance for the holidays, the Wheel of Light is back at a whopping 35m tall, so you can enjoy amazing views of the city skyline, clock tower and 44ft high Christmas tree. 

We recommend to book your ticket in advance online to avoid being let down the day if there's no availability.

Ice Skate Leicester ⛸️

Dates: Friday 28 November 2025 – Sunday 4 January 2026

Location: Jubilee Square

Feel the crisp winter air on your face as you glide over real ice at Ice Skate Leicester. Whether you're a pro on the ice or just a beginner, this is a fun activity for everyone. 

Tickets start from £9.50 for off-peak tickets for a 45-minute session. 

There's also plenty of local theatre performances, festive cinema showings and more in and around the city to keep you entertained.
