Something for everyone!

We have two sports centres on offer in Leicester, and whether you're a gym lover or just want to have a leisurely swim in the morning, there's something for everyone.

The two facilities include the Danielle Brown Sports Centre, which is located at The City and Roger Bettles, which is at The Village. 

Danielle Brown Sports Centre

Ideally located on the central campus, Danielle Brown Sports Centre allows you to keep fit and relax before or after a long day. Start your day with a swim, take a fitness class at lunch or a workout after studying.

The facilities here include:

In the sport centre: 

• Split-level gym featuring weight and resistance, cardio, spin cycle and stretch areas
• Air-conditioned, mirrored studio
• 20-metre swimming pool (pool timetable here)
• Spa, Sauna and Steam room
• Sports hall

Also available:

• Personal trainers (at an additional cost)
• Free health checks every three months
• Extensive group exercise timetable
• Free gym programme with qualified instructors
• Martial Arts studio

Please note that last entry is half an hour before the gym closes.

Roger Bettles Sports Centre

Facilities include...

• 25 metre swimming pool (pool timetable here)
• Steam room, sauna and jacuzzi
• Sports hall
• Activity room
• Indoor cricket nets
• Flood-lit grass rugby pitch
• 11 tennis courts
• Dance studio
• Large gym with resistance and cardio areas
• Flood-lit 5-a-side and all-weather pitches
