Airport Collection service

Arriving in a new country can be both exhilarating and overwhelming. That's why the University of Leicester has organized a free meet-and-greet service combined with coach travel for students landing at London Heathrow Airport (LHR). From 5th to 10th January 2024, our dedicated team will be stationed at these airports to welcome you and assist you in your journey to the University. It's more than just a ride; it's the beginning of a warm connection with your new academic home.

We believe a free airport pick-up service is an important part of our commitment to welcoming our international students and supporting them to settle into the University of Leicester. Students must book in advance, with bookings available from 1^st December 2023 once they have booked their inbound flights. Please note that places are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Alternatively, if students are unable to use the free bus service more information to plan how to get to the University is available here. We have negotiated a set price for University of Leicester students with Airport Taxis Narborough for students to be picked up from London Heathrow Airport and Birmingham Airport (BHX) to Leicester.
